About me
I'm fascinated by the mechanics of how money moves, grows, and creates opportunity.
With a finance degree and an entrepreneurial itch I can't scratch, I've spent the last decade building, investing in, and scaling companies. My path has taken me from traditional credit to venture capital, with plenty of startup battle scars along the way.
My most recent role was as a Senior Investor and Hispanics Lead at Latitud, Latin America's leading pre-seed and seed venture fund, where I evaluate opportunities across fintech, AI, vertical SaaS, crypto, marketplaces and more.
My entrepreneurial background spans three ventures, including Carttera (collection automation for lending companies) and Contxto (Latin America's leading venture capital publication, which I scaled and sold).
I also launched Tracción, a podcast and marketing agency where I helped fintech founders with content and lead generation. I joined Tribal Credit in Mexico. Leading the company growth and partnerships function from its seed to SoftBank-led Series B round. I joined as the 2nd employee and left as the 200th.
Each taught me something different about building sustainable businesses, especially in financial services.
Aside from starting companies, I've worked across marketing and finance at Red Bull, Santander, University of Sydney and Canadian aerospace company, Cert Center Canada—giving me perspective on both the creative and analytical sides of business growth.
My education spans from my Bachelor in Finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey, to a few study abroads with minors in Entrepeneurship at Montreal's McGill and the University of Sydney, in…well, Sydney.
